Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by Customer

Cancellation Timeline:

  • More than 48 hours before pickup: Full refund
  • Within 48 hours of pickup: No refund
  • After pickup time: No refund

Rental Terms

Important: Pricing Information

Prices do not include fuel, toll, and tax. The customer is responsible for:

  • All fuel costs during the rental period
  • Toll charges on highways and expressways
  • Applicable state and local taxes

Rental Period

Vehicle Pickup & Return

Pickup Requirements:

  • Original driving license verification
  • Photo ID verification
  • Security deposit payment
  • Vehicle inspection and documentation

Return of Vehicle

Fuel Policy

Full to Full: Vehicle provided with full tank, must be returned with full tank. Fuel costs are customer's responsibility.

Vehicle Usage

The vehicle may not be used for:

Prohibited Activities

Extension of Rental Period

Threshold Time & Late Return Policy

Grace Period & Charges:

  • Grace Period: 15 minutes allowed
  • First 2 hours: ₹500 + double hourly rate
  • Beyond 2 hours: ₹250 × extra hours + double hourly rate
  • Charges are based on current website rates
  • This ensures timely handover for the next renter

Replacement Vehicle

In case of mechanical failure, RABHIRAM will attempt to provide a replacement vehicle, subject to availability.

Cleanliness and Damage

License Validation and Multiple Accounts

License Blocking Criteria

Your license will be blocked for:

  • Over-speeding (above 120 km/h) – 2 violations
  • More than 3 damage incidents
  • Drunk driving case
  • Dues above ₹800 for 5+ days
  • Total loss to the vehicle
  • Major damage (above a specific threshold)

Limitation of Liability

RABHIRAM shall not be liable for:

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Tamil Nadu. Any disputes will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tirunelveli.

Damage Policy

Security Deposit

Security deposit varies by vehicle type and is refundable upon safe return of vehicle without damage.

Damage Assessment

Penalties and Damage Charges

  • Late return penalties apply if the vehicle is retained beyond the booking duration
  • Damage charges depend on the severity of the damage
  • Tyre damages are the customer's responsibility
  • Driving negligence is the customer's liability
  • Towing costs will be charged extra
  • In case of damage, RABHIRAM reserves the right to forfeit the security deposit

Fair Damage Liability Policy

  • Minimum penalty: ₹5,000 (₹10,000 for vehicles with ₹10,000 deposit)
  • If the vehicle requires repairs taking over one day, daily downtime loss will be charged (minimum ₹1,000/day)
  • Opportunity losses are not covered by insurance

Other Penalty Scenarios

Insurance Coverage

Basic insurance included. Comprehensive insurance available at additional cost. Customer liable for damages exceeding insurance coverage.
